Someone insulted another person that his English isn’t good.

The guy replied: “you speak english because it’s the only language you know. I speak english because it’s the only language you know. We are different…”

The only thing that has been going through my mind is that i hope i get to use that on someone one day.

I’m wanting to learn another language. Started a little bit of Spanish but we have been going to Portugal a lot recently as my wife has family there. Only thing is it wouldn’t be very useful anywhere else. It’s a tough call when your first language is English but don’t want to go my whole life being too lazy to learn another one

If you decide to learn the language, you could actually converse with your wife using the language, actually really fun😅

I hadn’t thought of that actually. I think I would enjoy learning anyway, just need to spend more time there to make it worth while
