Drop City was an artist community started by Clark Richert, filmmaker Gene Bernofsky, and artists JoAnn Bernofsky and Richard Kallweit near Trinidad, Colorado. In 1967, Drop City won the Buckminster Fuller Dymaxion Award for innovative and economic housing construction.
