This is one of my favorite books of all time

Psychiatrist Thomas Szasz tears down his own field; He argues that framing moral / social issues as illnesses absolves individuals of responsibility and turns psychiatrists into moral arbiters

The title is rather inflammatory but it works a good litmus test for how open-minded someone *actually* is given the content inside

Or if you know a young person who you think would benefit from reading it and who doesn’t have easy access to a library etc — I will cover it

I will always buy copies of this for people I have at least some kind of connection to, I love this book
