Well, i see that there are clear influencers on farcaster, right?
People who can say two words, get 100s of views, sit on the leaderboard, make money via leaderboard rewards, airdrops, etc.
So you feel like the game is rigged against you.
However! It seems like more of those folks, “the cabal” if you will, do indeed interact with everyone, on the one hand. Which helps, if you are focused on the leaderboard, just because things are interesting right.
On the other, as a little folk (we’re all our own version of little folk) spending more time just interacting with what you’re interested in (popular influenced or not) can satisfy interests, help you have a good old time, and see some rewards (monetary or otherwise) as well.
So you see a lot of folks feeling better about being wherever they are on the leaderboard, earning some rewards, and more importantly, just having a good time on farcaster.
Aka spend more time having fun, then the split between big and small dissipates. 1 reply
