Not really. They’ve all benefited someway from being early … profits , airdrops, and even friends so it’s only normal to want to give back.

Well, some of that was ofc bootsrapped or facilitated by the core Team but massive value was given by 3rd parties like $degen builders and investors (and sometimes not even much supported from the core team).

I just compare it to other Social Networks that had to invest more into User onboarding and be more hands-on. Always got this feeling the core team is offering groundwork, concepts but wants people, token projects to do the actual handholding and heavy lifting - very similar to many blockchain builders.

Might offer both, disadvantages and advantages, when you encourage users to take agency and enable 3rd parties to contribute (though some 3rd party clients also had to give up when the core team ultimately decided on other paths..)
