Relatively meaningful update to QSBS just passed Increased to $15M to $10M exclusion 3 yrs: 50% of gain excluded 4 yrs: 75% 5 yrs: 100% Also indexing to inflation going forward.

What qualifies as a small business?

Most startups qualify. It has to be a C Corp w/ assets < $75m at the time of investment and which is not a service-based business (no law firms, consulting, dental practices, etc).
