Been meaning to put these run stats on here for a while to show off to @epicdylan because you've been showing off your run stats for a bits. Finally started running again like 2 ish weeks ago. First time I felt like shit and my legs were KILLING me after for 2 days. Second one was about 5 days later I think and it was significantly better. Normally, it'd take months before it feels that good again. I'm not particularly fast right now but already on the 3rd run, I ran 13 minutes before walking for rest. That's been consistent across all so far. Only issue I'm having is blisters on my feet lmao! I like to finish with sprints and the 3rd run, that killed me, hyperventilating for 12 minutes needing to be outside in the cool evening air. Last night, I finished with 3 separate sprints. Recovery time is amazingly improved.

Niiiice. Yeah the trick is to just walk if you need to. I finally had a no walking 5k the day before yesterday, and I kept training all winter! My VO2 max stayed up. But I made a few mistakes, ran around an indoor track that was too small and made of concrete once and hurt my knee. Slowed me down for 2 months, and I lost all my speed :( I’m gonna get it back now though just watch.
