if you value your privacy, Samsung might not be the wisest choice. i'm considering buying one of mobile Linux devices, just as a workbench to test some ideas and see what it's like

another idea is to buy a compatible android device and install GrapheneOS on it, should be way better than any Linux mobile available right now https://grapheneos.org/
