A few things worth corecting. 1. Power badge is not required at the protocol; it's a Warpcast feature that we offer as an API for other apps. They have freedom to use or not use. 2. People don't want to see uninteresting accounts. So we offer a) who you follow and who follows you b) power badge. Again, on Warpcast.

maybe i'm missing sth, but corr #1 makes it look like @downshift.eth's suggesting that pb is indeed required while he's just reacting to @v ideating a new service. anyway, i know we can build our own client, but when one of the most prolific builders on fc loses a pb on de facto standard client, confidence is shaken.

appreciate the kind words…i agree; his response wasn’t at all a retort to my actual points.

What's the alternative to power badge that works better?

on fc? probably nothing similar has been tried at this scale. i appreciate pb and how it improved my experience, but i believe downshift is a good actor and he deserves clarification. i'm worried same thing could happen to me and i too would like to know why.

i'm actually not asking for personal clarification, but rather pointing out concerns with the system generally; i want to know if they are doing anything to improve it, or just ignoring the problems, yaknow? a forum/dialog is the first step to improvement, imo
