the eagerness with which my fellow airline passengers will rush to stand up, and... wait for 10+ minutes, hunched over in the over-crowded aisle, only to exit the aircraft at the exact same time as if they'd stayed seated during the wait.. will never cease to amaze me.

it’s such a human thing… rushing to stand, eager to feel like we’re moving, like we have some control. but really, it’s just life reminding us that no matter how fast we try to go, we all still wait the same. /lessoninthere

yeah man, i used to chill sitted on my seat and be last, like ffs if you have to pick up a bag you'll be waiting 15-20 min more on the line there, what's the rush, you're not getting out of the plane or the airport sooner than me... anyways, humans are kinda funny, mostly so when in packs. invidiuals kinda have a choice, but when you're in a pack you just follow the herd blindly innit

I am often last on and last off I also book us with an empty between us, and 9/10 it's empty when we board. Once we had someone between us (aisle and window) and they wanted the middle. So my bf and I sat on each side of the man. So strange, we offered either the aisle or window. Long flight that was.
