wrt the latest gender kerfuffle i think @proxystudio.eth said it best here! i am once again asking you to remember that how farcaster looks to a rando woman on twitter or elsewhere is not how it looks to us, my suspicion is that ppl's viewpoints here are really skewed due to group chats

like there is an entire segment of successful women in crypto that was turned off by farcaster and made lens their home instead, and i think very few ppl have asked why instead of getting tribal

it feels in line with what farcaster is working towards in general: grow the user base, build up better content that isn't all crypto related, help nurture the niches. not new problems, but good to look at them honestly I'm not super familiar with lens' approach, but I see MP repping the culture, planting that flag.

apparently usage has recently flagged, some think because Farcaster was competing for the same core of predominantly eth-adjacent users. idk any more than that

it does. farcaster has been getting new users, lens seems not to (from looking at one chart for 30 seconds, grain of salt and all that)
