How many of these bands do you think Spotify has created? 🤔 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3Nlb-m_vKYM&pp=ygUKcmljayBiZWF0bw%3D%3D

Interesting - I really enjoy lots of Rick beato videos - his interviews and deep dives are amazing. When I saw the title of this video - I groaned though Lots of his recent videos are just him bashing the modern music recording industry because people use autotune and multiple songwriters on songs (I agree with him on a lot of stuff, just disliked that random video that everyone disliked - and also his top ten videos of charts). However on watching it I thought it was really informative - didn't know apple ai was that good at separating tracks out, that must be a new update, cos it was pretty average before. Really interesting stuff, and it reinforces my belief that prompt engineers will be another role in the music industry going forward. I just dislike the fact that they aren't declaring whether the band is ai generated or not, that is simply unethical and bad faith. If something you have made as a prompt engineer is ai generated, you must say so in my opinion.

They guy’s right that much of the music in the Top10 is just trash and many artists these days don’t even compose/write/play/record/mix/perform/wtf do they do?

I've been trying for like 10 minutes to figure out how to reply to this 😭😭 Idk man but. I think more of Rick Beato's content should focus on the issues of the industry, rather than complaining about top ten charts - he has the right ideas, I just find them clickbaity and tiresome - kind of like the feeling he has when listening to top ten music 😂 That being said, I understand those videos are the ones that go viral.

wow… symphony? 🤔… I mean, that question holds many different answers as with that many years playing there are musically favorites and also others that hold an emotional connection because of a nice memory, a successful concert, or just a feel of a certain time in my life… Mahler 1st is special in my hear (memory/emotional but also musically) Beethoven 6th is AWESOME from every aspect Beethoven 7th too Tchaikovsky’s 4th and 5th (as a French Horn player both are great) Tchaikovsky’s 6th is WONDERFUL from a musical language and philosophical perspective. Shostakovich’s 12 is a musical favorite yet is not as fun to play as 10th (as a French Horn) Any of the 4 symphonies from Brahms are wonderful to play, to hear, to whatever hehe Idk man, Mendelssohn’s 3rd has this so quick staccatos that are so difficult and fun at the same time. Beethoven 3rd is mine. I could go on and on lol.

All bangers, Tchaikovsky 6 is a surreal experience, Beethoven 3 and 6 are superb, need to relisten to brahms and Shostakovich's work, Live Mendelssohn 3, but more partial to 4. Mahler's 2 symphonies are mind boggling too lol. I'd assume earlier stuff is less interesting to play?

Not least interesting just a lot more difficult so not always included in Youth Orchestras repertoire, so I played it more as an adult. I’ve played some OUTSTANDING works from Haydn, what a composer man. Early Brass music is something else. So cool to find a music connoisseur friend in here 🫶
