I dont even like Instagram, but every time I post to my 300 followers, it gets more engagement than on Farcaster, even though I supposedly have over 30k followers here.

Getting to the point where follower counts and likes don’t mean much. Im more interested in thoughtful discussion and actually connecting with ppl

That's interesting, generally I've always  been of the opinion that engagement is way more important than follower/like counts. I've been testing boosting posts across my socials, but I find the organic ones to be the most fulfilling.

Organic growth and engagement is what we want, but it doesn’t exist in practice when the distribution of attention is controlled by black-box algorithms. It feels like Web 2.0 all over again if you can’t verify whether you’ve been shadowbanned, or why one cast is trending while another with more engagement isn’t. 

Better engagement from 300 followers vs 30k speaks for itself no matter how you try to spin it
