Steph def better than Kobe. Both ruined the fundamentals of the game (besides expanding the brand) because the average kid thinks a Kobe/steph shot is a good one

I'm a Steph fan, and its close, but objectively by most metrics he's not better than Kobe. Intangibles are a wash, too.

To be clear: I think Steph could still surpass Kobe.

I see that argument.. but people only see him as a 3 point shooter which justifies shooting a 3 

In reality his ball handing PLUS off ball activities is what frees up the 3 

He’s so damn good overall

I actually think it's the other way around.

People *thinking* that Steph's mindset is "just shoot a 3" actually hurts Steph's legacy.

IMO, if I were making the argument for Steph to be higher than Kobe, it'd be the fact that his off-ball movement and finishing ability are WAY underrated because of his prowess in 3pt.

I see it.. and defensively Kobe>steph 

Both changed the game but players like
T-Mac, Vince Carter, etc smell a lot closer to Kobe than any Steph peers 

Regardless pickup ball way worse now cause of the Steph “just shoot a 3” mentality
