Update on Farcaste Pro for developers 1. Farcaster Pro subscription contract is deployed and live on Base. All new subscriptions through the Farcaster app happen onchain (like sign ups). Developers can permissionlessly build on the contract. 2. Contract supports monthly subscriptions. We may add monthly subscriptions and gifting subscriptions to the Farcaster app in the future. Other developers can offer that functionality today if they want. 3. Snapchain is reading from the contract and gating certain features — 10K character casts, 4 embeds, profile banners — based on pro subscription status. 3. A huge shout out @dynemyte @blockheim @gabrielayuso.eth @gt @horsefacts.eth @sanjay for all their hard work. From idea to onchain and fully in the protocol in less than 6 weeks.
