If I had to save just one book, it would be this one "Das Schloss" by Kafka. My first book (I was 21). The story of the illusory desire that we hope to achieve one day in our lives, the extinction of our deep desire through belief in the State, in employment system, and in norms that distance us from ourselves.

Sounds like an interesting book, I will read it. When I heard that desire disappears, it reminded me of "Momo" from Ende's works. It is a children's book but a deep work.

However, it's not easy to read. Kafka has a really dense and complex style, and the atmosphere is quite heavy as well. But if that doesn't bother you, then go for it. I had never heard of Momo by Ende, I will check it out 😊 thanks

I had heard that Kafka was really hard to read. I think I'm going to fail a few times, but I like the book so I'll read it. Thanks✨
