Find a friend group with a complimentary vibe and hang for the duration - travel sucks during the 4th (even between local locations). I love a small town 4th celebration because it’s always weird and silly

For me the fourth always involves good food and drinks - barbecuing hotdog and hamburgers, popsicles, wearing 🇺🇸 colors, and once it gets dark doing some fireworks in the street, some sparklers, and then going somewhere with a nice view to watch a fireworks show. :) Happy 4th! 💙🤍❤️

There are many paths to celebrating Independence Day. Grilling something with friends and family. Wearing festive outfits in red, white, and blue. Watching fireworks. Those are the main parts.

Parades are fun, look for those otherwise bbq backyard family stuff, appreciate being as free as an American is and probably get a little too drinky and the canned fireworks here are often really beautiful and everyone is out at the beach or in a field or in the square and really just at some point someone is losing a finger
