Funny story, back in 2018 at ETH Berlin I made a project called Discoball, hosted on discoball.io, code here: https://github.com/pierce403/discoball Basically the idea was to get other people to run nodes to pin IPFS content for you. I think that was actually the same hackathon where Pinata was launched, and I was like "oh cool, they've got this covered" :-D At some point I also grabbed pinpals.io (which I might work on any day now) with the idea to run nodes where content is automatically pinned based on your social graph. Like, if any of my friends are running websites (and eventually, media or symmetrically encrypted backups) on IPFS, I'd automatically pin them every time they get published. Good on-chain social graphs didn't exist back then, but with Warpcast, it could actually work pretty well now. Then I saw a couple days ago that @vrypan.eth is working on something called lemon3, which also seems relevant. Lots of great action in this space :-)

Dude that is awesome!! Yeah with Farcaster that's totally doable, and an interesting way to help decide what content to pin 👀 cc @polluterofminds @kyletut
