It's annoying that for the past 20 years, cars have gotten bigger and meaner looking, while the roads haven't really changed much (at best, deteriorated) Need an unbundling cycle where cars get smaller, cuter, and more humane

i’m just the usa, there was a policy change/ deal made with automakers during the obama era related to fuel economy which contributed to the crossovers and suv spike. will dig for it later

yes and 1950s and 1960s suburban growth contributed to urban planning which gave birth to the shopping mall, worked at the firm for the godfather of shopping malls victor gruen
