Admittedly didn’t realize @inkonchain had any traction. Spent a couple of days losing money on low volume memes when they first launched; haven’t really been back.

i'm still reeling a bit how differently base and kraken have treated me as a builder.

i won't recap base.

will just point to kraken using us to create contests that earned players thousands of dollars and launched a memecoin that went 125x.

i know this is for "besides david" so i'm the person who shouldn't chime in lol

for what it's worth, i've worked with around 50 chains at this point. ink is pretty close to top. base is #50. this is just my own experience and glad others have fared much better.

people ended up making $9k on the ink contest too fwiw

I was thinking it was a function of the number of teams building within each ecosystem and perhaps one factor is ink is still in the BD is important mode, while base is like huh we’re the big dogs don’t need to do anything special.

Though from an outsiders perspective that’s not the vibe I get from the hard team…. Maybe a case of if you’ve been funded by CB ventures well put on the white gloves?

i mean that’s definitely possible — i won’t lie and pretend our future is particularly important to the success of base. it’s not, and that shows
