if warpcast ever adds advertising, the idea at the start of this pod is how i’d prefer it to look at a high level: each day at the same time every day, one advertiser pays to be featured and a single notification is sent out to all users the advertiser must provide financial incentive to a % of users in some way - discounts, send usdc to them, etc even better if it’s gamified as jason suggests in the pod - he suggested a scratch off game where a small percent of users win the advertiser is responsible for the creativity of the incentives and gamification, users can choose whether or not to click on the notification would much prefer this than seeing ads in a feed https://open.spotify.com/episode/1Ujgo1RNQlVnRFSi8QWcda?si=BL3PQNOsT3myBpLL-nM4TA

But how how will they maximize revenue? This is the interesting part of Warpcast having taken $180M in funding. It’s definitely the chance to reinvent an old model, but repaying shareholders will always be a factor that might push things to “show an ad to every user that is most likely to meet the goals of the advertiser”, which has proven to be the best way to achieve extrat revenue at scale.
