I was writing notes in my Obsidian vault and the short phrase "slow philosophy" came out as I was thinking about the constricting feeling of having deadlines and the freedom of taking a semester off to explore. Quick Google search later, and then a tab to search at my university library, and I'm reading Slow Philosophy, with a note ready to capture my thoughts on it. Excited to see what's in there.

I'm going through a similar cycle today, as I'm in the home stretch with preparations for the launch of our new creative production studio this week. Whenever the feelings of "ugh, what a slog" start to outweigh the inherent joy in the work, that's usually a sign that I've taken on too much and it's time to scale back a bit. I'm reminding myself to follow my own advice often this week.... lol. Anyway, here's a book that might interest you as you explore slow philosophy: "Slow Culture and the American Dream" by Mary Caputi. This is the book that introduced me to the term "snailblazers" which I totally love. You can get the book free through Anna's Archive. https://annas-archive.org/md5/9de6cd2a999f86bb597a50a7953f3cd9
