I was thinking about how you could do something similar with FC earlier using Soul-Bound Tokens and Automod. Unfortunately not an actual pigeon, but on the bright side it's very unlikely to poop on you.

Doesn't solve the problem of "who is eligible" for the SBT, but it's at least not Warpcast-only.

Therein lies the rub. The easy answer is manual invitation, like handing over a pigeon. I think there are more novel paths too though via proof of humanity and maybe some standardized attestations…

Oh, I see. I was suggesting using farcaster as is, with a tool like automod to control writes to a channel. If you want to have truly private channels, I guess you could have a symmetric key that holders could claim to decrypt group messages.

Oh I even just meant mechanically, once you’ve decided your members: encrypt to each holder? send only to holders? proxy re-encryption?
