🚨 Binance Moves to Dismiss $1.76B FTX Lawsuit, Blames SBF for Collapse 😮  

Binance has filed to dismiss a $1.76B lawsuit from FTX’s estate, calling it "legally deficient." The exchange argues FTX’s downfall resulted from internal fraud, not market manipulation, citing SBF’s conviction.  

FTX claims Binance improperly received billions in crypto during a 2021 buyback. Binance counters that FTX operated normally for 16 months post-deal and wasn’t insolvent at the time.  

The suit also targets ex-Binance CEO CZ for a 2022 tweet about liquidating FTT tokens. Binance defends the move, citing public concerns from a CoinDesk report on Alameda’s balance sheet.  

FTX plans to distribute $5B in creditor repayments starting May 30, with total payouts potentially reaching $16B.
