The device will look good. Can you manufacture at consumer scale and compelling enough to displace existing ecosystem lock in ChatGPT memory might be enough to bootstrap a new ecosystem outside of Google or Apple

1. A lot less personal data is needed to profile/predict us than we think 2. Google knows more about us from search and Gmail alone (let alone rest of suite) than ChatGPT does, even if you’re a daily user like me. Probably true for Meta too. If it’s a moat, OpenAI isn’t exactly ahead here. 3. Exporting data/memory from platform to platform is remarkably easier in the age of AI and recent regulation Could be wrong though

I don’t think I agree with those reasons. Memory is far superior than what google or meta has. But I do think, OpenAI memory itself is so early, either of those companies or someone else could provide a superior memory experience for a much larger audience than Open AI could.
