Any questions for Congressman Sam Liccardo (former mayor of San Jose)? I’m front and center at his town hall tonight.

His district includes the coast to Silicon Valley: Pacifica, Half Moon Bay, Atherton, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, San Jose, etc.

Gov. Gavin Newsom endorsed Rep. Liccardo’s opponent in the election.

At the town hall I went to last week, Rep. Liccardo called quantum computing a top issue and said it could be “a couple years” away.

The timeline sounded so ambitious I assumed he misspoke… until I saw this post today.

How is quantum being talked about in your corner of the U.S.? Is it?

I took a quantum physics seminar my first quarter of college, and honestly the rhetoric was pretty bearish. It’s def a long ways away. By then, I’m not sure if quantum computing will offer an advantage compared to where AI will already be

I worked on the finance team & researched trial lawyers, VC firms, and other cool donors in the area! Got to help run a fundraiser in Menlo Park as well
