On-chain lottery. Provably fair. Non-custodial. Built on Base ⟡ Powered by Chainlink

The hardest thing about building in public when you have zero followers: You’re essentially journaling. No replies. No engagement. No signal that anyone is listening. But here’s what I’ve learned: the posts you write to nobody are the ones that define your voice. By the time anyone is listening, you already know what you stand for. Building CyberLotto taught me the product is the easy part. Finding the words to explain why it matters — that takes longer.
Been building on Base for a while and finally ready to share what we've been working on. CyberLotto — a fully on-chain lottery on Base. What makes it different: • Winning numbers generated by Chainlink VRF (cryptographic proof verified on-chain) • Prize pool locked in a smart contract nobody can access — including us • Every ticket is an ERC-721 NFT you own • Buy from any EVM chain via Chainlink CCIP Draws twice a week. Fully automated. No human in the loop. app.cyberlotto.org — would love feedback from Base builders.
Building an on-chain lottery and the hardest part isn't the smart contracts. It's trust. Every user's first reaction is "this is a scam" — and honestly, they're right to think that. Most lottery projects are. So instead of saying "trust us," we made everything verifiable. Every draw uses Chainlink VRF with on-chain proof. Every prize is locked in a contract we can't access. Every result is auditable by anyone. The pitch isn't "we're trustworthy." The pitch is "you don't have to trust us." Turns out, removing yourself from the trust equation is the hardest sell and the strongest moat.
