Finished the OpenAI / Sama biography. 

Kind of like the original Elon biography by Vance, the story feels half written. Most of the major bets (OpenAI, Helion, World) have yet to prove themselves as long-term viable businesses.

But it finally feels like the SV / YC milieu is mainstream, and therefore officially over. 

It will likely continue to gain in power / importance, but the early optimistic energy is well and truly gone. It’s now the establishment.
