I thought farcaster was striving towards this also?

I guess what I don't understand is:

- why build something so similar to farcaster?
- why splinter the community into smaller pieces?

I understand tipping is not sustainable, but idk how we got HERE.

In many cases. In this case, making a Farcaster like application that adds primarily a great feature that could exist IN Farcaster I personally and professionally think it detrimental to the goal of creating the best X alternative.
