Dancer in the Dark starring Bjork

I saw this movie in a film class and I loved it. It’s so beautiful and emotional, I immediately bought it on DVD. But haven’t been able to watch it again because it’s so disturbing and upsetting.

I remember watching it in the theater when it came out. Movie ends, lights on, the ENTIRE theater with red eyes and tears. Plot from bad to worse to terrible to "please stop it can't get worse".
