Another afterburner. To measure the size of Farcaster, and especially of the non-spammers, I put together a Dune. It has become a compromise to prevent timeouts, but it measures how many FIDs have been active in the last 21 days over the past 9 days.
Yesterday's figures of active FIDs were:
label 0: 92,375
label 1: 17,294
label 2: 23,480
no label: 14,962
Total: 148,111 (7 days before 157,063)

I have made a variation on this indicator to look at the trend of active casters in the longer term. This measurement shows the active casters in a specific month. Current month isn't closed btw.
Key takeaways:
- declining active FIDs with 2 (Apr. '25: 28.6k), and 1 (Apr. '25: 20.6k) spam labels, but depending on monthly close it could be more or less sideways.
- active FIDs with a 0 spam label isn't declining 🤯 (ATH in Mar. '25: 157.3k, and Apr. '25: 135.0k)
- Total active FIDs in Apr. '25: 195.0k (ATH in Jul. '24: 238.7k)
- If we assume that 50% of label 1 and no label are 'serious' casters, and we add label 2 to it, we have around 44.3k of serious casters in Apr. '25.
