Tried paella for the first time this year — in Spain, no less. Also had risotto (not in Italy, but in Bulgaria actually). And I have to say… Risotto wins 100 to 0. Out of three paellas, only one was truly tasty — but even that one didn’t come close to even an average risotto. Sorry, paella fans!
