Metamask, despite being the leader of wallets for years, hasn't evolved, doesn't warn about scam contracts, and has an outdated interface.

I recommend switching to Rabby and Rainbow. Rainbow is an open-source wallet that works with Ledger & Trezor. Rainbow doesn't have its own token 😏

They have developed metamask snaps architecture (i.e. extensions). So unfair to say they are not improving.

I agree with you. But what do snaps offer to the average user who accidentally signs a scam transaction? They don't do anything about the main thing - improving user experience and user security, that's what I'd specify.
