Can someone explain to me how selling creator coin makes the market cap go up?

This may happens with low-market-cap creator coins that have very little trading activity. I guess the market cap only updates when a sale occurs, at which point it refreshes based on the actual current valuation. And since creator coins are paired with $ZORA, and $ZORA has gone up recently, the creator coins have also increased in USD value.
