Stickers are an amazing barometer for fearlessness in kids Kids like to put stickers everywhere, there is no concept of oh I have to save this, so I can put it on something important, no they don't care - they just do it, and adults look at it and go - why don't you save it, for a more important later time. But here's the kicker: There is often no later better time

I was definitely an adult in a child’s body then.

I missed out on all the fun of using my stickers! I saved them for nothing, but at least I learned from that mindset and now as an adult try to enjoy things in the moment instead of trying to save a moment for the future. The future is now. The moment is now.

To me it sounds like remembering the fact that you didn't use your stickers when you were a kid are helping you frame / appreciate / make the now more valuable. Exactly because you didn't use your stickers when you were a kid. Honestly, I find that to be sort of a beautiful return

I wasn't a happy child too. And was trying to always act as an adult as well. Growing up in street fights and pressure was a survival mode, but it is what it is. Now give myself more freedom, I explore everything like a child, and I am enjoying it. The moment is now
