I think it's very important to make Farcaster welcoming to non-technical folks. The founder and builder community here is without a doubt the strongest signal. However - I've noticed that the more technical convos become, the harder it is for artists and creatives to wrap their head around and chime in.

true BUT we've hit an inflection point. i fundamentally beleive frames is the unlock for the creative culture to thrive + flourish on FC. i've always heard that coding is a form of speech + expression; building frames and witnessing the development of all types of frames was the first time i felt it in my bones.

And for those who are non-technical - it’s worth continuing to TRY to be technical. It’ll drastically improve your experience.

From a perspective of someone who is designing drops for artists this last 2 years - I can say that they really don't want to be on a call for 30min listening about how each protocol works. They are just looking for distribution and safe platform.

I agree and was talking about this with friends. Having so many tech conversations is bad for mass adoption.

As a non-technical person in tech I like this point. Should be effort to explain technical topics and trends. If these were featured in feeds it would help make sense of the current platform hype.

True, it's gradually edging towards being "fully crypto-native" I think it can be avoided by proliferating channels that are not crypto related (travel, sports, et al.) and have fun discussions there.
