dunno. the most compelling part of the current zora thing is the creator coin part, the actual content part of the coins is still not that interesting when it's just like a tweet or something. they're more like adverts for the creator coin which if there's good volume can be worth it for an artist. the way FC is doing collectibles is neat, but it won't be for artists i don't think, at least in the short term, because of the formatting and that they all share the same contract. so for collecting casts and stuff it'll be fun. i can see people using them to as passes for experiences exclusive content and things

I'd include tipping alongside collectibles and coins. What is the job to be done? - financially support creators - boost engagement through speculation - price discovery for content - price discovery for content creators

I struggle with Collectible Casts for the same reason, I struggle with tips. It relies on the goodwill of people to give away money for no other benefit other than patronage. Coins play into people’s desire to make money, drive attention to the creator/content, and can result in life-changing financial outcomes.

whatever is simpler, and has the best conduit for demand I think collectibles because it’s a better value equation for collectors "I can be the only one to own this historic post"

imo they will co-exist ( both win ) though they touch different parts of the brain and it depends on what the creator chooses to use Collectibles are the ones that truly feel like appreciation. You have no chart, no mental baggage ( as both creator and holder ). imo it’s only support. It’s like saying this mattered not I expect it to 10x. And it’s a huge difference imo Coins imo come with a psychological pressure. The price may become a proxy for the creator’s value. You get a mc, narrative, and an expectation ( unspoken one most of the time ) to deliver. And this may distort the relationship between audience and creator even if the intent is good I am not anti-coin at all, and I think a lot of people buy them to genuinely offer support and expect nothing in return, and I also believe they have a lot of use cases, but imo collectibles are underrated as they are more human ( truly feel like tipping ), less speculative, more sincere I believe both will win long-term🌹

Together, they blur the line between content and capital — and that’s the real win...

Without TBA, Zora would be dead (again) already. Idk if Collectibles are the good horse, Cryptokitties was fun in 2018 So... Unsure one of them will win at the end of the year. Make Art great again 🙂 Wen Farcaster MMORPG ? Some PFP on Base are cool (Drifters 🥰) Won't talk about virtual worlds Dream big 💫 https://dune.com/Konohime/nft-categories-volume?year_nc079d=2025

I prefer collectibles tbh. It should be pushed more on base. I was told a mint I did would have done better if I coined it. I feel people only buy those content for the money rather than the content itself

I haven’t really understood collectibles yet, but I guess coins are probably here to stay for the foreseeable future.
