People who only show up to use us will leave when a boundary is drawn and they know they can’t or that they won’t try to use us again. Expect it. It’s not a rejection. It wasn’t a friendly connection; it was grift—and once it’s seen you can’t be played, the game is over and the sore loser leaves. Celebrate the energy and space that’s freed up by their removing themselves. No company is better than bad company. Never forget it.
