GM โœŒ๏ธโค๏ธ๐ŸŒž Minimum Viable Living decision timeโ€ฆ.. Starlink, the only broadband service hereโ€ฆ Keep or dump? I have 5g if I need it, and cell phone service is obviously a non negotiable. How much access to the internet does one person need?

There are also great tricks for setting up point to point internet with anyone you have direct line of sight with. For an area as open as you are you may have a few options. I have a pair of old radios that can transmit a multi megabit connection up to 46 km.

Iโ€™d look for some creative ways to share that cell connection. Itโ€™s definitely something most of us are overpaying for.

Ya need vs want question, for your purposes Iโ€™m guessing no need as long as cell service is strong enough and you have enough data built into your plan to do what you need to do. I work from home 4 days a week so I need it, otherwise itโ€™s consumption only purposes.

Would be easier if it was a lot cheaper. I feel like internet should be $50/month tops.

Good morning! If all else get a booster for the phone data. I typically keep 5g off and get better service here.
