I picked these up in case I lose some. They clip in pretty solid. https://www.amazon.com/Maxmoral-Bicycle-Hydraulic-Spreader-Instert/dp/B09N79DR4C

The only reason I can think of is cameras. If it is all local, worst case is an intruder takes your storage rig and now you lost the reason why you installed cameras. That being said, the best setup imo is local storage and control, offsite backup.

Couple of research mode updates. Thoughts appreciated. - Sticking with Schlage Connect over Encode. Better battery life, had one for 5 years and it has been rock solid, HA can make up the feature differences. - Bond Bridge Pro for RF fans. Never used it before but seems well supported and has a local API.

Something I enjoy way more than I thought I would. Doing my almost 4 year old daughter's hair.

Since picking one up when they came out I have always had one, but now I am curious about Ecobee. What made you pick Nest over anything else?

Two NICs, some Linux configuration, and a wireless card will do the trick.

Oh, nice. I was recently looking at what Yale offered and was glad to see they have more keyed options. Good luck / cast how it goes!

They are Schlage Connect, so Z-wave. I am currently researching between staying with them or switching to the Encode Plus.

Great timing on this channel for me! I am closing on a new house in 3 weeks so it is time for some upgrades. Looking forward to sharing progress and getting advice! Core platforms at my existing place are Unifi and Home Assistant, with Lutron, Schlage, Dyson, ESPhome, and some Wyze devices.

I second this. After having been burned by a couple of systems HA is the way to go. Plus having everything run locally ๐Ÿ˜˜

The Canyon Grizl is a pretty solid bike and a great value. Here is a link to the non-carbon version as it sounds like carbon may be overkill. https://www.canyon.com/en-us/gravel-bikes/adventure/grizl/al/

What's the solution that looks at all your wallets, across all chains, across all key derivation paths, and tracks + visualizes all your stuff, in one place?

Moving to a new house and I am going to need a desk. I can't say I usually go for the gamer aesthetic, but I am drawn to the Secretlab Magnus Pro XL for the cable management and build quality. Thoughts?

Reading this hurts because I have been thinking the same thing. I have always chalked it up to the fact I don't use Windows very often, but now I feel like I need to invest the time to find out.

I am very afraid that Notion is going to ruin Cron. Can we please just keep it a stand alone calendar app?
