Do you hate tariffs or do you hate Trump?

I dont care about either of them but if i was American, i’d be happy if other countries paid more to sell their stuff on my soil, to my people. 

Of course the consequences may be bad so it’s ok to be contrary, but still.. they could also be good.. nobody knows that🤷🏼‍♂️

So hers my question:


If the better outcome long term is to produce at home, why didn’t businesses choose that route when given the chance?

seems to fly in the face of freedoms of choice

right so then brining it home will 100% make it more expensive

and nothing is free

so that new expense is 100% passed on to either the consumer or shareholder

so all those new jobs are paid for by the public - or else they won’t exist

Which means that tariff job growth is no different than a government job. Since no extra value is created we’re paying ppl to dig holes

Because it was cheaper to produce in abroad..

Italy has done the same, outsourced everything.. then sold everything.. now we are literally nobody.. economically speaking..

But oh we have nice sea and good food..
