@j4ck.eth thanks for suggesting i post the #IdeAction framework on paragraph.xyz. I was caught between a medium & a mirror—a web2 rock & a web3 hard place compared to paragraph’s web3azy, breezy beautiful self. that forward slash format feature feels so fresh and so sleek / & the default H1 heading is so hot. ty @colin

Woah, speaking of quirky, so grateful to @j4ck.eth for telling me about paragraph...but maybe he shouldn't have also told me about the FC desktop client in the same convo. Lol. I'm feeling a bit unleashed. Why is this so much fun? I think it has something to do with the narrow margins.

This IdeAction framework is post-Cicerone rhetoric all about humans simply communicating ideas in authentically human ways, and I believe incorporating voice would empower people to show up as human beings. Voice empowers tone, and on web3 tonership should be at least as important as ownership.

Texts are going to get quirkier, more idiosyncratic, much more emotional, much more non-sequitur, more digressive, ziggy and zaggy in ways that play guitar with weird and gilly and the spiders from mars, enabling humans to barely suss out the eccentric referentiality of a human being and the absence of roboticaility.

My big prediction for mid / long form textual space is that phonocentrism will overtake opticentrism. With the onslaught of AI writing, AI-image generation, robo-reading, AI-voicing (the descript Overdub feature is powerful af!) texts are going to have more of what Peter Elbow calls “voice” or “vernacular eloquen

I particularly love this for paragraph, because “paragraph” etymologically (para- ‘beside’ + graphein ‘write’) means “beside writing”—and you don’t have do a full Derrida (as I’m prone to do) to see that what stands most closely by writing’s side is the phonetic vocalization of words.

Thank you so much for building this amazing platform!!!! As the former founder of a social network (for coining neologisms, lol) I know how annoying it is to be approached with loads of out-of scope feature requests. So there's only one feature I'll mention. The ability to to read paragraphs in your own voice.
