What good is form without function? IMO bad function is a bad design 💁 I like the concept though.

In a philosophy and design course, the professor defined design as the act of impoverishing the world. This was related to the designer's ability to discard elements among all the existing options until arriving at the final proposal.

Design is not foregoing x to achieve y. That's bad design.
