** Pondering The Story ** (my /firstdraft ) @ponder released a new site ponder.social to rave reviews & @tldr 's review as the bar for mini apps caught my attention. There are several things that make the site effective, but I want to note how it tells Ponder's 'story'--I know it's a buzzword, but it's still true. What is the story that Ponder tells? You (user) can play a fun game of predicting what people think & make money doing it. It's easy & fun. Here are some examples. And we not only let you play & make money by predicting, but you can create your own polls & make money. Notice what they don't say... We are building the next _______ for social We have 800 committed users We've been perfecting this for 2 years We have a team of 5 dedicated to building the best... Why not? Because they made the user the hero of the story and not Ponder. Too many web3 projects tell their story with them as the hero. Users connect to a story where they are the hero. Be like @ponder

We had a very specific goal: don’t pitch the grand vision/white paper edition. Just pitch what the user cares about 🤷‍♂️ Appreciate the review @bradq !

It comes through. I remember at Farcon you mentioned to me in passing the Donald Miller book building a story brand. Did you read that and did that play in it all?
