i have my struggles too. but i am not an empath. i do not share your pain. i do not carry your suffering.

also, in an unsympathetic manner, i allowed myself to be extorted (on purpose) so yeah

this is soo well written! but imo however important it is to recognize your privilege, i don’t think it’s a moral failing to still want better for yourself.

i think it’s how you use your privilege and treat the less privileged around you that matters
