The image is from Paul Tudor Jone's documentary Trader (1987). He was a floor trader, got rekt three times and lost it all, had to ask friends for money to trade it all back. I love this guy.

Oh Ciefa, I watched the documentary all the way through and honestly, there’s absolutely nothing about the floor trader guy. No end credits, no background, just… mystery. Kind of crazy how someone so central to that story is almost invisible in the details What really stood out to me though was how chaotic and raw their trading process was. It’s a fascinating look back at how trading used to be, but it also made me realize how much the game has changed with today’s tech and algorithms, how much has evolved and how much more change is coming. That old-school style wouldn’t really work now, lol, I did call it old-school Mad respect to anyone involved in Trading 🫡 the mental toughness that comes with it? Sheesh

I think it's actually still a unsolved who this guy is (I hope I'm wrong). I remember reading forum threads with speculation, but none of the speculations turned true I think. This guy is my spirit animal 😅😂 I hope he reached his goal and was able to retire soon

Right? Fingers crossed I totally get how someone can get rekt multiple times over 9 years, no shame in that, PTJ took losses too, but his comeback was neat I’ve been stalking recommended videos too, hoping to catch even a tiny hint about him still nothing Anyway, thank you for indulging my brain today honestly, CT talks sometimes make my brain do backflips, 🤣 I get lost but this has been eye opening
