I’m out of Remix. I wish I could say that this experience was a positive one, but I’d be lying. Game jam after game jam, it feels like I am always two steps behind. Everyone in my life told me that my games are great, and honestly, they are wrong. Five months have gone by since entering the “Remix ecosystem” (if you can call an app an "ecosystem"). I’m exhausted and I need to step back and take a hard look at myself in the mirror. I wish you guys nothing but the best. Please contact me. PS: see you on Monday

Bro, is this real? Never give up! Sometimes we just need a change of perspective, you are a great builder and one of the best players with his great feedbacks. Im sure you will be on the top, your games are always different, you deserve it

🥰 It's a pasta. But, as I do like my hidden meanings, it is also a little bit real. I see PINGEUS as my second best game ever. I gave a lot of thought into making it appropriate for kids, accessible, and tournament-friendly. I went pretty hard in a direction that I thought was unique and beautiful. It flopped completely on Remix. Both in popularity and team choice. I don't see AESOPNE as a particularly strong game. I like it and am proud of it, mind you! I think it's clean, ish. Just not my best work. Yet, this is the one that got selected in a game jam, and this is also the one people keep telling me they like. None of this is too much of a surprise. I like my things weird. I'm proud of my games, and I'm stubbornly confident they don't suck. So, I'm willing to accept they're not a good fit for the platform. 🙂 (cont...)
