I present you a new collection: Signal | Noise
I’ve been working on this for months, and somehow it became my main artistic project.
Almost two years ago, I imagined an algorithm that could generate one artwork per day. It would use the news to create a visual snapshot of that specific moment in time.
At first, I used AI to interpret the news into daily artworks. That’s where my Farcaster name came from: Chronist, a mix of chronicler and scientist.
Later, I tried another approach. Using Python, I pulled real images and headlines to reflect the day’s sentiment, then connected them with tangled neon lines.
That version felt solid conceptually, and I released a collection on Highlight using that code. But visually, I felt it still had room to grow.
That’s how this new version started. It keeps the same idea of a Python-made daily chronicle but mixes cosmic imagery, historical art, and fragments of current news. The central pattern now helps connect all these timelines in a more meaningful way than the previous neon entanglements.
The project will keep evolving, but from now on, I’ll regularly share new daily pieces using live news on Rodeo. The 24-hour minting window fits the concept really well.
If you’re curious or want to chat about it, feel free to leave a comment. And if you want to collect the very first piece in this series, head to Rodeo now:
