2700chess.com used to run on php + jquery for a long time. 
Sometime I think 2022-2023, they started to port slowly to plain react. Seems it didn't work out well initially and they probably decided full Nextjs rewrite. Seems that's going just as great lol.

It’s a bit tricky since they’re the most reliable source. I’ll see if I can reverse engineer the site or find an alternative data source

Obviously, if I have to scrape then they’ll need to be active plus scraping is some layout away from  breaking everything (last resort)
