Building a miniapp when you Ship Fast™️ is very much not going all-in. We have a built a totally native everything client, end-to-end. Miniapp is ez mode that helps validate that critical social hook. We figured it out building a React Native client, but would do it with a miniapp if Day 0.

I say "all-in" and I'm getting sacrificed for it. Yes, building a mini-app is faster. Yes, combining a mini-app and a normal web-app is more nuanced for certain apps. I like building on Farcaster. @ace and I have used almost every building block that Farcaster has put out in some way. At the end of the day, I'm just trying to build something and get eyeballs on it. If my opinion came off a certain way to people, there's nothing I can really do there.

I agree with some parts of your take fwiw. A miniapp needs to be tightly coupled with a social hook, not an entire focus. But it feels fairly trivial to build a miniapp relative to the longer venture of a client. I haven't experienced any roadblocks yet.
